Sponsored by ATA's Technology Special Interest Group
and The Center for Connected Health at Partners HealthCare
Cost: $30 | Originally recorded on 2/14/07
High definition technology offers a higher resolution for more detailed images, and a higher frame rate, which shows more natural movement. It also provides a wider aspect ratio, displaying more of a room for larger meetings. Teledermatology, live ultrasound imaging, telesurgery and telepathology are but a few of the applications that could be helped with high definition video conferencing. Presented by Bruce Ryon, a Principal in Home Health Research and Principal and Chief Analyst with Gartner Dataquest and Media Metrix |
