Dr. Kolodner will speak about the current activities and priorities of the Office for Health Information Technology, his view of the role of the federal government in promoting the adoption of HIT by the healthcare industry, and the interrelationship of telemedicine within the broader scope of HIT. Dr. Kolodner will also share his thoughts on elevating the role of telemedicine in the HIT discussions and how we might begin to realize the kind of support for telemedicine technology as we have seen for HIT over the past 2 years. |
