Essentials of Launching & Operating a Mobile Health Clinic
Saturday, April 5

Mobile Health Clinics Network (MHCN) is a nationwide membership-based association of medical and oral health providers who create a ‘healthcare home’ in the Mobile Health clinic environment.  Reflective of its community outreach mission, mobile healthcare is uniquely positioned to advance access to primary and specialty healthcare services for diverse populations, especially underserved families and individuals.  The Forum curriculum focuses on two paradigms of program operations that impact the success of all Mobile Health clinics: obtaining institutional support for mobile healthcare and securing permanent funding streams.  The curriculum addresses the pragmatic and complex issues of developing, managing, and sustaining a Mobile Health program.  Speakers offer best practices and strategic operational guidance complemented by Roundtable Peer Discussions designed to foster delegate interaction and networking.  Learning sessions are structured around three Mobile Health discipline tracks: Mammography, Oral Health, Primary and Specialty Care.

MHCN hosts the Mobile Health Clinics Pavilion, a dedicated section of the ATA Trade Show, with displays of customized Mobile Health vehicles and related products and services.
