Types of Members
Members of ATA all share an interest expanding the practice of healthcare through telecommunications technology. Membership is composed of a mix of individuals, healthcare institutions and corporations. As of December 2006 ATA members included approximately 2100 individuals, 50 healthcare institutions and 65 corporate members including 30 President's Circle members.

Location of Members
ATA members are located in 49 countries. About 13 percent of the individual members are located outside of the United States.

Professional Degree
Members of ATA represent a range of interests including hospital administrators, clinicians and allied workers, technologists and government employees. Over 20 percent of the individual members are physicians, 11 percent are nurses. Almost 10 percent have PhDs.
