Don't you mean parallel to the plane of the lesion rather than perpendicular? |

This may be beyond the realm of this document, but a statement regarding licensing requirements for practicing telederm across states, requirements for prescribing (i.e. some states requires a physical exam to prescribe), and malpractice insurance caveats. |

Image Acquisition Page 4 - 75ppi is fine for a screen image but if you ever plan to print the image you should use at least 320ppi
Image Transmission page 5 - Does the requirement for encryption include Private and ISDN networks?
Image Display Page 5 - Although dot pitch can apply to CRT TV's and LCD TV's, it is mainly used for CRT TV's. Dot Pitch can vary depending on how the pixels are measured on the screen and the type of pixels on the screen. Horizontal, vertical, or diagonal are three ways to measure dot pitch. Vendors can use different pixel patterns (triangular, stripe, or diagonal) and pixel measurement to pass off inferior quality monitors as higher end models. Triangular or diagonal patterned pixels using a diagonal dot pitch measurement usually result in a more accurate dot pitch measurement. LCD monitors are usually measured by native resolution.
Image Display Page 5 - CRT monitors are capable of varying resolutions to adjust to the current resolution selected for a task up to a maximum resolution specified. LCD monitors can only do one resolution. This is called Native Resolution. If a resolution is selected for an LCD monitor other than the native resolution, the LCD monitor will emulate the resolution and may cause a blocky looking image.
Macro page 9 - If Macro mode is use on the camera the Zoom function should not be used.
Room Lighting page 9 - Florescent bulbs are measured in Kelvin Degrees. The higher the temperature the more blue is added to the light causing it to appear whiter. Lower temperature bulbs remove the blue and cause the light to appear redder. MTN recommends Florescent lights for VTC between 37, 000 and 47,000 Kelvin degrees.
Color page 12 - CCD is not a computer chip it is a Charged Coupled Device. I would avoid using the word computer in this case.
Flash page 12 - If the flash is not adjustable then proper distance from the subject needs to be maintained to prevent washing out the picture. |
