The Technology Special Interest Group acts as a catalyst for the development of universal access to a contiguous infrastructure of medical communications. The SIG has sponsored tutorials and seminars on technology for ATA members and explored issues such as developing universal labeling guidelines and interoperability standards for telemedicine equipment. The SIG works to explore current telemedicine solutions and identify existing technology capacity and limits to progrss.
